Yes, most manual wheelchairs. • What is the cost? $5000-$7000 • Is there required maintenance? Except for keeping the batteries charged regularly there is no required maintenance. A yearly inspection is recommended. • How long do the batteries last? Most batteries are good for 4 years if charged regularly. They are available from MAX-Ability. There is enough reserve power to access at least 20 flights of stairs on one battery charge. • How do I maintain the batteries? It is recommended that the batteries be on the charger whenever the product is not in use. • What about training and availability? On-site training is included. The products are readily available. |
